Listening to our President speak

feels like I’m doing something wrong.

I shouldn’t listen to rumors,

but a lot of people are saying this.

“Who is saying this? And are you sure

they’re ok with you telling me?”

I feel like I’m in third grade 

passing notes,

when you could see it on our face.

You could do your best

to hide the truth,

but you knew it was evident,

Suzy had cooties.

We will never be above love.

We will never be beyond connections.

So, we should take our masks off

and experience resurrection.
